The short version: vanilla in Hungary works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla pod kit really costs in Hungary
If you are looking at vanilla in Hungary, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested vanilla in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Ft35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft1.77 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How long does vanilla in a pod kit last?
In Hungary we measured 2 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
