We run tropical the same way in Hungary: same sub-ohm kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft1.67 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical sub-ohm kit really costs in Hungary
We run tropical the same way in Hungary: same sub-ohm kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Hungary.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
