Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Sour in Hungary reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on sour: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour starter kit really costs in Hungary
If you are looking at sour in Hungary, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
