Sour starter kit Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Sour in Hungary: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Sour in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft3.41 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour starter kit really costs in Hungary
A sour starter kit from the budget options in Hungary costs about Ft3.41 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Hungary survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
Packaging for sour in Hungary must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
