If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour RDA really costs in Hungary
We run sour the same way in Hungary: same RDA, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Hungary.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft1.84 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within Ft1.84 per 10 ml once 3–7 business days is counted.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
