Sour pod kit Vape Meet in Hungary: the order shortlist
Sour in Hungary: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Choosing a pod kit for sour
Sour in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run sour the same way in Hungary: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Hungary works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour pod kit really costs in Hungary
Sour pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does sour in a pod kit last?
In Hungary we measured 9 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft3.42 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
