Sour pen device Vape Meet in Hungary: the review shortlist
Sour in Hungary: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
A sour pen device from the reviewed options in Hungary costs about Ft2.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Hungary usually means waiting 3–7 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour pen device really costs in Hungary
Sour pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Hungary survives.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft2.77 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
