Where buyers go wrong with sour in Hungary
We run sour the same way in Hungary: same 100 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
We run sour the same way in Hungary: same 100 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour 100 ml bottle really costs in Hungary
Sour in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Ft56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft2.74 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft2.74 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does sour in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Hungary we measured 2 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
