Salted squonk mod Vape Meet in Hungary: the review shortlist
Salted in Hungary: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
What salted costs in Hungary
If you are looking at salted in Hungary, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on salted: 10 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted squonk mod really costs in Hungary
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft3.59 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Ft33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft3.59 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Hungary survives.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Hungary need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
