Plum box mod Vape Meet in Hungary: the online shortlist
Plum in Hungary: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on plum: 9 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run plum the same way in Hungary: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Hungary works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum box mod really costs in Hungary
Plum in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Hungary accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
Wholesale lines to Hungary need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Hungary?
Yes, tracked to 3–7 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within Ft3.11 per 10 ml once 3–7 business days is counted.
