Pear starter kit Vape Meet in Hungary: the review shortlist
Pear in Hungary: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
There is no single best way to buy Vape Meet in Hungary. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft3.07 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Hungary
Pear in Hungary reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised Ft44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft3.07 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
How long does pear in a starter kit last?
In Hungary we measured 6 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
