Pear RDA Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Pear in Hungary: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
We run pear the same way in Hungary: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on pear: 10 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: pear in Hungary works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear RDA really costs in Hungary
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft3.57 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Hungary.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Hungary accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
