Mint pen device Vape Meet in Hungary: the cheap shortlist
Mint in Hungary: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
We run mint the same way in Hungary: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching Vape Meet in Hungary are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint pen device really costs in Hungary
We run mint the same way in Hungary: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
Where mint goes wrong
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Ft60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft3.37 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Hungary need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is mint legal to sell in Hungary?
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft3.37 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
