Mint pen device Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Mint in Hungary: 22 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
A mint pen device from the budget options in Hungary costs about Ft3.06 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run mint the same way in Hungary: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: mint in Hungary works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint pen device really costs in Hungary
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mint in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Hungary survives.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within Ft3.06 per 10 ml once 3–7 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How long does mint in a pen device last?
In Hungary we measured 6 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
