Mint mesh tank Vape Meet in Hungary: the online shortlist
Mint in Hungary: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: mint in Hungary works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint mesh tank really costs in Hungary
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft2.15 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Hungary.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Hungary accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft2.15 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How long does mint in a mesh tank last?
In Hungary we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
