Melon squonk mod Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Melon in Hungary: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
Melon in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A melon squonk mod from the budget options in Hungary costs about Ft2.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: melon in Hungary works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon squonk mod really costs in Hungary
A melon squonk mod from the budget options in Hungary costs about Ft2.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Ft35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft2.67 per 10 ml.
