Melon pen device Vape Meet in Hungary: the wholesale shortlist
Melon in Hungary: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
What the label on Melon is allowed to say
Ordering into Hungary usually means waiting 3–7 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
We run melon the same way in Hungary: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: melon in Hungary works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon pen device really costs in Hungary
If you are looking at melon in Hungary, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested melon in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for melon in Hungary must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Is melon legal to sell in Hungary?
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
