Melon cartomizer Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Melon in Hungary: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Choosing a cartomizer for melon
We run melon the same way in Hungary: same cartomizer, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft2.51 per 10 ml.
The short version: melon in Hungary works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon cartomizer really costs in Hungary
We run melon the same way in Hungary: same cartomizer, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested melon in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Hungary.
Where melon goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Hungary survives.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised Ft37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft2.51 per 10 ml.
