Licorice squonk mod Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Licorice in Hungary: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft3.46 per 10 ml.
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: licorice in Hungary works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice squonk mod really costs in Hungary
We run licorice the same way in Hungary: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested licorice in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Hungary.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Hungary survives.
