Licorice pen device Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Licorice in Hungary: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on licorice: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run licorice the same way in Hungary: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice pen device really costs in Hungary
A licorice pen device from the budget options in Hungary costs about Ft2.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Hungary.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
Packaging for licorice in Hungary must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft2.73 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does licorice in a pen device last?
In Hungary we measured 5 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
