Citrus in Hungary: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Hungary
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft2.56 per 10 ml.
A citrus squonk mod from the compared options in Hungary costs about Ft2.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: citrus in Hungary works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus squonk mod really costs in Hungary
Citrus in Hungary reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested citrus in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Hungary accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Hungary stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft2.56 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within Ft2.56 per 10 ml once 3–7 business days is counted.
How long does citrus in a squonk mod last?
In Hungary we measured 4 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
