Citrus prefilled pod Vape Meet in Hungary: the cheap shortlist
Citrus in Hungary: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
Citrus in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft3.24 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus prefilled pod really costs in Hungary
Citrus in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested citrus in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Ft38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft3.24 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
