Citrus pen device Vape Meet in Hungary: the review shortlist
Citrus in Hungary: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Delivery, returns and what 3–7 business days really means
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft2.88 per 10 ml.
A citrus pen device from the reviewed options in Hungary costs about Ft2.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: citrus in Hungary works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus pen device really costs in Hungary
If you are looking at citrus in Hungary, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested citrus in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Hungary.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Ft43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft2.88 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Hungary must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does citrus in a pen device last?
In Hungary we measured 6 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Hungary allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
