Citrus cartomizer Vape Meet in Hungary: the cheap shortlist
Citrus in Hungary: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
A citrus cartomizer from the cheapest options in Hungary costs about Ft3.49 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft3.49 per 10 ml.
The short version: citrus in Hungary works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus cartomizer really costs in Hungary
Ordering into Hungary usually means waiting 3–7 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested citrus in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Hungary, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Hungary accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Hungary sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale. Shipping of nicotine to Hungary runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft3.49 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within Ft3.49 per 10 ml once 3–7 business days is counted.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
