Citrus cartomizer Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Citrus in Hungary: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Hungary
We run citrus the same way in Hungary: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft3.36 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus cartomizer really costs in Hungary
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested citrus in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Hungary.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Hungary accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
