What a cherry pen device really costs in Hungary
Cherry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cherry in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised Ft38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft2.57 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
Wholesale lines to Hungary need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Hungary: about Ft2.57 per 10 ml liquid plus Ft38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Hungary?
Yes, tracked to 3–7 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
