Caramel refill pack Vape Meet in Hungary: the budget shortlist
Caramel in Hungary: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Hungary.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Hungary that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Ft2.51 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel refill pack really costs in Hungary
Caramel in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested caramel in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Hungary, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Hungary accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Ft39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Ft2.51 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Hungary applies EU TPD rules; retail registration is required before resale.
Wholesale lines to Hungary need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does caramel in a refill pack last?
In Hungary we measured 8 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within Ft2.51 per 10 ml once 3–7 business days is counted.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
