If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant pen device really costs in Hungary
Blackcurrant in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Hungary the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested blackcurrant in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–7 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Hungary, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–7 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Hungary survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Hungary accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within Ft2.73 per 10 ml once 3–7 business days is counted.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
How long does blackcurrant in a pen device last?
In Hungary we measured 3 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
